M.J. MacManus papers, 1849-1951, (bulk 1934-1942).

Composed mainly of correspondence to MacManus from various Irish literary and political figures. Many of the letters discuss articles by MacManus. Manuscripts of poems by Francis Ledwidge and George William Russell are also present. In addition there is an 1849 letter of Eva O'Doherty to William Smith O'Brien which discusses leaders of the Young Ireland Movement, a letter from Standish O'Grady to George William Russell and material on Francis Sheehy-Skeffington.
